The United States has called on Italy to send military forces to Gaza and the occupied West Bank in the event of a ceasefire. That’s according to the Italian defense minister, Guido Crosetto. This is while, according to observers, any potential truce between Israel and the Palestinians is not in sight, at all. Not at least for the time being.
