The fifth round of high-stakes indirect talks between Tehran and Washington on Iran’s nuclear program, mediated by Oman, has concluded in the Italian capital Rome. The Iranian foreign minister described the talks as one of the most professional discussions so far between the two sides. Abbas Araghchi added, the U-S has a clearer understanding of Iran’s position after Friday's negotiations. The Omani foreign minister Badr Albusaedi announced the talks had made some progress but nothing conclusive. He also expressed hope that the two sides can clarify the remaining issues in the coming days to reach a sustainable agreement.
