Cybersecurity firm Huntress Labs has revealed that a ransomware attack on a US IT company has potentially affected 1,000 businesses. Huntress Labs says the massive operation was launched hours before the US Independence Day holiday weekend. It says the attack targeted a software supplier called Kaseya in the state of Florida.
