Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China have spurred a trade war as targeted countries have begun to respond. Canada has slapped 25 percent tariffs on US goods in retaliation for a similar move by Trump. China and Mexico have pledged to respond. The German leader has also decried President Trump’s wide-ranging tariffs.
