The devastating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip continues to deteriorate, with more cases of malnutrition leading to death. According to Gaza’s health ministry, seven more Palestinians have died due to famine and malnutrition, bringing the total hunger-related death toll to 154, including many children. Several UN aid agencies continue unrelenting efforts to draw attention to the fact that the territory is slipping into famine. The World Food Program, UNICEF, and the Food and Agriculture Organization warned that time is running out and stressed that to prevent mass starvation, Gaza must be flooded every day with large-scale food aid, immediately and without obstruction.
