Iran regional diplomacy

PressTV 3 views

The Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani, has embarked on a regional tour of Iraq and Lebanon. His mission, to forge closer ties with regional nations and help repel foreign efforts at coersion and interference. He has taken a message from Tehran of earnest hope that the Aoun government in Beirut finds a way to resolve its internal issues with resistance groups, without manipulation from the very actors whose threats against Lebanon warranted the establishment of resistance, namely the Isreali regime and US. Larijani also inked a solid security deal with Baghdad, one shrugged off and criticized by the US, the same US that invaded the country behind deceptive pretext in 2003, massacred over a quarter million Iraqi civilians, and paved the way for the emergence of Daesh terrorists.
