In the UK, a mosque near the southern English city of Brighton has been targeted in an arson attack. Two worshipers were inside the mosque at the time of the attack.
This attack, however, does not come in a vacuum and follows a huge escalation of anti-Muslim rhetoric by both mainstream and far-right political and media figures across the country.
