Lebanon’s resistance movement, Hezbollah, has carried out large-scale missile and drone strikes against Israel, targeting the regime’s positions deep inside the occupied territories.
In one of the operations, Hezbollah targeted the Haifa Navel Base with a barrage of missiles. Several other Israeli bases including Mishar, Shraga and Doviv were hit as well. The group also destroyed at least six Israeli Merkava tanks in various fronts including in Deir Mimas and Bayyada. Separately, the resistance movement carried out attacks on nearly a dozen of Israeli settlements including Yir’on, Kfar Blum and Sasa. Several gatherings of Israeli forces were also targeted. Hezbollah fired hundreds of rockets on targets across the northern occupied territories including in Tel Aviv on Sunday. The attacks forced millions of Israeli settlers to hide in bunkers. Israeli media have described the attacks as unprecedented since last month.
