The Irish prime minister says in response to the Israeli regime closing its embassy in his country that Ireland cannot be silenced.
Simon Harris says what Netanyahu is doing to innocent lives in Gaza is QUOTE utterly despicable. The Irish foreign minister stressed his country is simply calling for accountability and a ceasefire. Foreign minister Michael Martin also stressed that any action taken by the Irish government has solely been motivated by respect for international humanitarian law and human rights. He described the horrific crimes being committed in northern Gaza as being beyond any moral compass and urged the Israeli regime to allow media into the besieged Strip so the world can bear witness to what is happening there. The Irish foreign minister had announced last week that Ireland would formally join South Africa’s genocide case against the Israeli regime following government approval.
